Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 June 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Straw Social (the “Service”), operated by Soracle Media (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Straw Social is a tool for composing, scheduling, publishing and analysing social media content across connected networks. We may add, change or remove features at any time.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at r.sorrell@soraclemedia.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you create and upload. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and transmit that content solely to provide the Service — including publishing it to the networks you connect, at the times you schedule. You are solely responsible for your content and for ensuring you have the rights to publish it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- publish unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harmful or abusive content;
- send spam or violate the terms or policies of any connected network;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service; or
- use the Service in breach of any applicable law.
5. Connected networks
The Service connects to third-party platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and Pinterest) through their APIs. Your use of those platforms is subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for those platforms, and they may change, limit or withdraw their APIs at any time, which may affect the Service.
6. Plans and fees
Some features may require a paid plan. Where fees apply, they will be shown before you subscribe. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable, and you can cancel at any time with effect from the end of your billing period.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and branding, is owned by Soracle Media and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scheduled content will always be published (for example, where a network is unavailable or changes its API).
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Soracle Media will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. On termination, your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and Data Deletion instructions.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
